Your PIN is required every time you open the MAAARPay app or unlock it after it has been locked.
On supported devices, Face ID or fingerprint may be used for faster access. However, your PIN remains the fallback method if biometric authentication is unavailable or fails.
If you’ve forgotten your PIN, follow the steps below.
How to Reset Your PIN
On the Enter PIN screen, tap Forgot PIN at the bottom of the screen.
You will be logged out of your current session.
Log in again using your account password.
Set a new 6-digit PIN.
Once completed, you can use your new PIN to access the app.
PIN Requirements
Must be 6 digits.
Weak or generic PINs (such as 123456) are not accepted.
Avoid sequential numbers (e.g., 456789).
Avoid repeated digits (e.g., 111111).
You may reuse your previous PIN if it meets security requirements.
Too Many Failed Attempts
After 5 incorrect PIN attempts, your account will be temporarily locked.
The cooldown period is 5 minutes before you can try again.
Important
Resetting your PIN will log you out of the current session for security purposes.
