Overview
MaaarPay supports Apple Pay as a payment method wherever Apple itself has enabled it. We don't maintain a separate country list we follow Apple's official list of supported countries and regions, since Apple controls availability at the device and card-network level, not us.
Where is Apple Pay available?
Availability depends on the user's:
- Country/region (device and Apple ID region)
- Card issuer (the issuing bank must support Apple Pay in that market)
- Card network (Visa, Mastercard, etc. — network support varies by country)
👉 Always check Apple's current, official list here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207957
This list changes over time as Apple adds new countries and card networks, so it's the single source of truth MaaarPay reflects it, we don't override it.
What this means for MaaarPay users
- If a user's country is on Apple's list, they can generally use Apple Pay with MaaarPay, provided their card issuer also supports it.
- If a user's country is not on Apple's list, Apple Pay won't be available as a payment option on MaaarPay either this is an Apple-side restriction, not a MaaarPay one.
- Being on Apple's list doesn't guarantee every card works — some issuers roll out support later than others within a supported country.
Note: Apple's supported country list is dynamic. This article intentionally does not hardcode the list to avoid giving outdated answers always defer to the linked Apple page.
